Lamps shining ,angry coal miners march arriving in Madrid.
The countdown has begun. On Monday the so-called "black march" of miners descended on the outskirts of the capital after a grueling advance of some 430 kilometers, often in searing heat. The northern column, which set out from Asturias, Palencia and LeÛn over two weeks ago, reached the suburb of Aravaca on Monday afternoon, where they were greeted by applause and cheers of support from residents.
